Just like
every other human being, a couple expected the new month to bring them
goodwill but unfortunately, the reverse
was the case.

Francis Ekanem from Ikot Usen Ibiono Local government of Akwa Ibom State
Nigeria lost their two children to fire caused by candle in the house.
This tragedy happened on 1/8/2016 at about 02:00AM at No 7 Esu
lane off Liverpool opposite Quo River by Emmanuel hospital Eket,
Akwa Ibom State.
According to the investigation by NTA and DPO Eket, Akwa Ibom
State the man was with the wife outside cleaning beans for akara but left their two innocent children sleeping while they lit a candle so the kids wont be in the dark. Unfortunately, the candle caught fire and burnt down the house, including the 2 children.
The children cried for help and tried to escape from the house but
could not because of the burglary proof.
May the souls of the babies rest in peace. Please my people let us be very careful with candle. Its a small tool but causes mighty troubles.
